This is our senior SATB choir of about 40 choristers. Commencing on the first Tuesday in February, this group rehearses weekly throughout the year. Performances include major mid-year and Christmas concerts supplemented with occassional Eisteddfod and festival participation. Weddings and community performances occur on a an ed-hoc basis.

Men and women who blend with our youthfull sound are most welcome.

This choir is formed on a needs basis, drawing heavily from existing members. Participation by regional and city-based choristers is strongly encouraged.

The choir is currently reforming for a tour of the UK , currently planned for July 2012. 

This choir is reformed in September annually in anticipation of the usual high choir demands of the Christmas period.

In recent years this choir has had about 100 members, performs at the Institute's Christmas Concert , and performs daily at the Crown Entertainment Complex for up to 5 weeks prior to Christmas.

The repertoire is more appropriate to this age group than some of the more traditional or large SATB arrangements performed by the other CHIME choirs. That being said, the programs are challenging and fun. The social atmosphere is also excellent.

The choir is an auditioned choir with high standards required in performance and personal grooming. Recent performances have included the national sales launch for the new Mazda 6, the Richmond Football Club Centenary celebration gala ball and MCG pre-match entertainment, and the Andrea Bocelli concert at Rod Laver Arena.
